Join the fun and adventure for the Big Bear Valley’s Annual Outdoor Adventure Days on June 21st-22nd, 2025! This is the valley’s most diverse festival of outdoor activities, promoting the area’s natural beauty, accessibility and unique habitats. All events are FREE, but registration is required.
Event headquarters will be at the Christmas Tree Lot at the corner of Pineknot Ave and Village Dr. The registration booth is open from 8:00 AM - activities run Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis, so grab your friends, your family, and come early.
The purpose of the Ecotourism Coalition and the Outdoor Adventure Days is to draw support for local businesses while increasing awareness of the value of Big Bear Valley’s unique natural habitats and species. Our priority is creating harmony between local residents, tourists, our businesses and our beautiful surroundings. Show your support — join in the adventure and come experience something new!
Some of the outdoor activities available include:
— Enjoy the lake on the 55-passenger Big Bear Queen paddlewheel boat ride with a guided touraround the lake, or a 2-person kayak paddling experience!
- Emocionantes excursiones por senderos locales, incluido un tramo secreto del sendero Cougar Crest.
- Contemple la asombrosa avifauna con un paseo guiado para avistar e identificar aves terrestres, o con una visita guiada en barco pontón para ver e identificar la avifauna de nuestro lago.
